IMPORTANT NOTICE
REGARDING CORONAVIRUS

Following government guidance, the Parish Council has made the decision to suspend ALL Parish Council Activities for the foreseeable future. This includes all scheduled council & committee meetings.

Important! - Speed Limit Change
Effective 9th March 2021.

Please be advised there has been a reduction to the speed limit from 50mph to 40mph on High Lane from the A19 cross over bridge down to Low Lane.

Green Waste Collections
We are able to confirm that our green waste collection service for 2021 will recommence on Tuesday 13th April and will run for 30 weeks, which includes an additional 4 weeks, ending Friday 5th November.

From March 2021 reusable green hessian bags will be charged at £4.00 a bag, this is an increase on last year's cost of £3 a bag. As well as hessian bags, clear plastic bags will also be available to purchase for £3 a roll at all Customer Contact Centres.

During lockdown Parish Councillors have been pulling together a list of issues to form part of a 5 year action plan. It will include areas such as village safety, village environment and village identity. Some of the actions will require major funding so once finalised this action plan will be posted on the website. Any Ideas or issues residents may have and would like the parish council to add to their list please tell parish councillors or email maltbyparishcouncil@outlook.com 18th July 2020
